Ah! It's already August - a little part of us is looking forward to Fall weddings but a big part of us are sad to depart with SUMMER! We've had a blast making bright summer themed cakes in bold colours like orange and yellow. We saw a lot of pastel pass through our atelier this season - lots of mint green, pastel blues and pinks. The bright orange on white shown here is classic yet super stylish - fit for the Hamptons! Here's to a lovely month of August and may you make as many lasting memories as possible!

Will you marry me? The 4 tiny words that pack a punch indeed! The lavender and pale blue theme shown here was a popular color trend this year. More and more brides are choosing pastel colours for their dresses over the traditional whites and ivories. Blue is especially soothing and adding lavender accents makes for a very calm engagement/wedding day.

When we were asked to make a beach theme, our design team was more than thrilled to do anything associated with summer. Being in Montreal where our summers are so "damn" short, any theme that is related to sun and beach will bring a smile to our face. Unfortunately, the turquoise waters used as a backdrop is not in our backyard so keeping the dream alive will have to do!

Okay, so maybe we got carried away with the blood spatter and maybe our inner-vampires came out during the making of this cake but we couldn't help it. As True Blood fans, we were delighted to design this cake for our client. And from what we heard, she was more than happy to sink her teeth into it!!!

Even our 2 year old customers get to enjoy our artistry and whimsical cakes. We had a "wild" time creating this animal farm - there's something about a cute pig lazily lying on a cake that puts a smile on our faces!
